About Alejandro
When I was 16 I started playing in my first band and since then I have been professionally dedicated to music. I have played in music venues, theaters and festivals both alone and with different musical formations throughout the Iberian Peninsula, the Canary Islands, and England and I have directed choral and instrumental groups and made arrangements for them. I have played with rock, pop, swing and tango groups, both with guitar and piano and have had the opportunity to get in touch with different styles and understand music from several different prospectives. In addition to interpreting the music, throughout this time I have also dedicated myself to transmitting the knowledge that I have acquired and leading others in the journey of learning music.

Music is a language, and just like any language, it is speaking how you learn in the best. My classes are centered in the practice. We focus on what interests the student: what he likes, what he wants to learn, what he wants to do and how he will do better, and that is what we develop and enhance. Improvisation, accompaniment, interpretation, ear development, and reading are some of the things the student can learn while playing his favorite songs. Also, as I have students from many different instruments, I usually organize jam sessions for them so they learn to play in a band and practice (this is completely optional).
