About Santiago

I’m Santi, a guitarist, session musician, and songwriter based in Peckham, South London. Originally from Mexico, I’ve been playing for nearly 15 years and teaching for 10 and gigging regularly as part of the Disruptive Collective (concealed information) on Instagram).
Outside of teaching, I perform as a session musician and write my own music, which means I bring real, active musicianship into every lesson — not just theory from a textbook but can also comfortably teach music theory if that’s your pursuit.
I’m friendly, relaxed, and genuinely passionate about helping people connect with music in a way that feels natural to them. I speak both English and Spanish, so lessons are always comfortable no matter your background.

About the lesson

My lessons are fully tailored to you — your schedule, your goals, your taste with no rigid syllabuses. If you want to play funk grooves, Latin rhythms, blues, disco, jazz, or write your own songs, that’s exactly what we’ll work on. If you’re eager to learn music theory, that is also perfectly possible.
Lessons for bass guitar up to intermediate level are also available, and all lessons are available in both English and Spanish.

I offer lessons of 30 minutes, 45 minutes or an hour a week. First lesson is free!
