About the lesson
I have a relaxed approach, I am cordial and positive. I slowly demonstrate chord shapes, scales, riffs and picking and strumming. I will answer any questions or repeat sections at any point in the lesson. I have been playing regularly for over 20 years, am a singer/songwriter and I am currently studying for an MA in songwriting. Part of that involved 6 lessons with an expert guitarist myself. I am also taking an online guitar course to progress to expert level. I teach young and old, beginners to intermediate. Lessons generally are one hour long.

About Fergal
I am a singer/songwriter, guitarist and home studio engineer from Limerick, Ireland. I am 45 years old.I have released 3 albums of original material and am currently working on my fourth, due for release in October 2022. I play rhythm and lead guitar, acoustic and electric, and bass. I also have extensive experience recording, mixing and mastering music for myself and clients in my home studio. I have lots live performance experience too, playing hundreds of gigs over the past 15 years. I like teaching, because it is an opportunity to pass on my knowledge and experience to students of all ages and levels, to help them develop their careers. I needed this guidance when I started off, so it is an opportunity to give back, and keep the industry vibrant and healthy.
