About Alexia

I was a level 10 gymnast for 2 years, state champion on bars (third on vault, floor, and all-around) and regional champion on vault, bars, and beam (third all-around). I have competed at Nationals twice and medaled on floor as well as a 2x Eastern National champion. I love working with athletes as I have been coaching for several years and am extremely passionate about gymnastics. I am patient and excited to help! I am now a D1 gymnast at the George Washington University!

About the lesson

I'm great with refining skills and am creative with drills that can help an athlete grow into the skills they'll need. I've also struggled with mental blocks in the past and have many great ways of getting past them in order to help an athlete be the best they can be. I have several years of coaching experience and am able to work with any level gymnast or cheerleader on basics, learning to overcome pre-competition jitters, and working skills, new or old.

Deadly! Alexia, is an observant coach. She tells you the specific parts of an exercise/move that needs to be corrected. I am a beginner and I saw my progress improve surprisingly quickly.

Deadly! Alexia is very thorough in guiding my 7yr old daughter. She learned a back walkover in one lesson. The images Alexia draws really help explain how her arms and legs should be positioned with each step. We look forward to weekly lessons.

Deadly! I hired her for my 14 year old daughter. I enjoyed her time and style. She challenged her but hear her out and allowed her space to articulate how she was feeling and how her body felt. She did an excellent job with my daughter and I will continue to book her for sessions for my daughter.
