About Jessica

Hi there! I have over 5 years of experience teaching Japanese to students of various ages and levels. My lessons are tailored to each student's goals—whether it's improving conversation skills, or learning from scratch. I create a friendly and supportive learning environment to help students feel confident and motivated. I have also taught English as a Foreign Language to Japanese and Chinese students and obtained my TEFL certification in 2019.

In addition to my language teaching background, I am a professional dancer with over 20 years of experience across various styles including ballet, modern, tap, jazz, lyrical, street, and contemporary. Since July 2020, I have taught dance both privately and with dance schools and theatre companies. I also have performance experience in stage shows and music videos. I graduated in July 2019 with First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Dance Performance.

About the lesson

Hi there! In my lessons, I prepare fun and engaging materials, always filled with enthusiasm and passion. If there's something specific you want to learn, just let me know! I use repetition and ask questions to make sure you understand. I’m patient because I know learning a new language can be challenging—I had to learn Japanese too!
