About Hannah
I am currently studying Law at Newcastle University having achieved four As in my A Level exams, attaining 95% UMS across all four exams. Being a student in 2020 has been extremely demanding and I would love to help students out who have missed lots of learning as a result of Coronavirus. I am a friendly, approachable and am always happy to answer any questions. I used to tutor year 11s and 12s during my final year of school and two of those students went from grade 2 (U equivalent) to grade 5- which I am super proud of! I’ve still got lots of learning materials from my A Level courses and would be more than happy to share examples of good answers- let’s get those top grades!
For those interested, I studied German, History, English Literature and completed a Politics EPQ- I would love to teach these areas too!

The way that I thought was useful for learning German (and languages in general) was reading through speaking and listening transcripts, then proceeding to translate and read them aloud. I think this helps to put difficult and trickier words into context. I would also like to point out that I understand students may be nervous to speak German out loud in a lesson- there is no pressure to recite German verses or anything like that! We can adopt a pace and teaching style that suits you, we will move together at whatever pace you feel comfortable with.
I would also be able to help you with homework tasks and help to break them down into manageable goals. I also know lots of helpful German sites for students which I found so useful whilst I was studying.
