About Alexandra

Current BA Philosophy student at the University of Sheffield. My tutoring experience dates back to year 10 during the first year of studying my GCSE's. As an individual I am very energetic and understanding. I believe that respecting your student is essential for students to be there best selves. Although I am only 20 I have a great understanding to teaching theory, and have studied philosophy of education as part of my degree.

I have a very flexible approach to tutoring as I believe every student is different and therefore each learn in a different way. However my main aim for every lesson is for every student to feel confident by the end of the session in the topic area we covered. For students I want to make the topics we cover as interesting as possible and therefore will relate it to areas of their own interest. This always make the content easier to remember especially when recalling under the stress of a possible exam.
