My teaching style as a TEFL teacher is mainly student-centred, communicative and flexible. I like to make my lessons interesting and encourage students to speak and participate as much as possible. I adapt my teaching methods according to each student's level, needs and learning goals. I use different techniques, such as conversations, role-plays, repetition, grammar explanations, vocabulary activities, practical tasks and total physical response (TPR). TPR is especially useful for younger learners because I can use actions and movements to help them understand and remember English. I am patient, understanding and encouraging, creating a safe and comfortable environment where students can learn, make mistakes and build confidence.
