About Akino
I was born in Japan but came to London to develop my piano performance more than 30 years ago after completing the undergraduate music degree.
While studying at the Royal Academy of Music, I participated in many master classes, competitions and music courses. I had been performing in public before focusing on the teaching entirely.

I am enjoying teaching pupils of different levels, from beginners to grade 8. I am able to create an individual programme of the lessons for each pupil. I meet my pupils once a week for 30 minutes to one hour depending on their ages, ambitions and capabilities.
