About Michelle
I strongly believe I have the imperative skills and abilities to be an excellent teacher. I tutored English for a 9-year-old for five months, this gave me great insight and understanding as to how to work with children. Also, I AU PAIRED for a year where I taught the two children English related subjects. It equipped me with several skills, for example, how to teach a lesson which was effective, and the child could pay attention. The philosophy of teaching lies in the style, I believe learning needs to be exciting and intriguing. If the child can have fun in the classroom the ability to remember and apply what is taught increases. I strongly believe I have the imperative abilities, skills and qualifications to be an excellent teacher. Furthermore, I am passionate about the English language and children. It is rewarding to see my students progress and grow - I find great joy in it. My BA degree in English and Communication Science furthered my knowledge in different aspects of English, from literature to grammar, and how to communicate to different types of people. I have skills that is beneficiary to me as a teacher as I learned skills to communicate with individuals from different cultures and ages. My students not only learn English, but they learn practical skills – how to apply it to their everyday.. My students are a priority and not just another class, I believe in making a difference in my student’s life.
