About Amanda
Honestly, I admit that I cannot teach anyone until I see exactly where they stand. I start every new student with a diagnostic skills check to build the lesson plan. We focus on performance-focused students, grade exam candidates, adults, and advanced learners. My JMC Academy degree provides the framework for every session. I break down complex theory into simple rhythmic pulses. We keep things moving fast to maintain that live stage energy. I push you to find your own sound through structured practice. Riffs started for me while watching the old masters play in the heat of the night. After 14 years of gigging the Australian Latin scene with my Diploma of Music from JMC Academy, I found my voice. My focus remains on electric technique, music theory, power chords, and scales and modes. I also manage tuning and maintenance along with barre chords and acoustic technique. Chord transitions, lead guitar, and ear training complete my technical toolkit. These elements define how I shape a player. How do you plan to find your own groove?
