About Siobhan
I am a published creative writer, tutor, nonprofit type 1 diabetes advocate and I have worked with students from K-8 ages on many different subjects. While I have two master's degrees, my proudest accomplishments have been watching my students master a new skill! I have worked with students with ADHD, PTSD, Autism, Dyslexia, and various other struggles. I truly view neurodivergent qualities as superpowers that don't translate in an academic setting. I hope you can view me as that person to instill both new skills and also confidence in your unique abilities.

Are you struggling to write a paper and want to learn to tap into your creative side? Are you looking for reading support for your child? I love all things reading and writing and will show you step by step how to make these subjects meaningful and relevant instead of plugging in an artificial formulaic method to read or write that isn't transferable. I am here, enthusiastically, to be your support and cheerleader!
My lessons will be tailored to the needs/ obstacles you are facing and also will capitalize on the strengths and interests you bring to the table. I view every student as a fund of knowledge and love to meet new people.
