About Carolyn

Welcome!! How pleased I am to meet you.

Rest assured and feel confident that spending an hour or more a week with my guidance, concentrating on your particular needs, will ensure success in your chosen field.

What a great opportunity awaits you and me!

About the lesson

In my lessons, I don't just rely on one teaching method. Instead, I use a range of modalities and tailor the lesson to your unique learning style. Whether you're a visual, auditory, kinetic, or spatial learner, I'll ensure you get the most out of our time together.

My lesson plans follow a tried and tested structure. We'll start with a warm-up activity, which could be a cartoon, joke, or anecdote to get you in the right mindset. Then, we'll dive into the heart of the lesson, where you'll learn all the essential information. Afterward, we'll recap what you've learned and end with a conclusion.

What sets me apart is my diverse background. Growing up in a military family and working as a flight attendant has allowed me to travel extensively throughout the USA, Europe, and Asia. I've been exposed to various cultures, and I bring this knowledge and experience to every lesson.

I eagerly await meeting you!!!

Carolyn and I were colleagues for many years. Sometimes I served as a substitute for her when she was out sick or on vacation. Over and over, her students told me how kind she was, how knowledgeable, how interested she was in helping them, and how patient. Carolyn is able to combine genuine warmth with structure to provide top notch support in learning English and using it in social settings, business, and writing. I highly recommend her.
