Hi, I’m Kimberley, an experienced KS2 tutor with a passion for SEN education and confidence-building learning strategies. I believe that every student deserves a personalised approach, and I love helping students find joy in learning through creative, engaging lessons tailored to their unique needs. As a KS2 class teacher and private tutor who specialises in SEN education, I tailor my approach to meet each student's individual needs, ensuring that lessons are not only effective but also boost confidence and foster a love for learning. My Teaching Methodology: I use creative, structured lessons designed around students’ interests—for example, themed grammar activities, interactive learning techniques, and confidence-building exercises. Whether your child needs support in English, science or maths, or even general study skills or Healthy Mind Matters, I adapt my teaching strategies to their learning style, strengths and needs. Lesson Length: My standard lessons are 50 minutes, offering a balance between engagement and productivity. However, I also offer shorter sessions for focused intervention work or extended lessons for deeper learning. Experience: With experience in tailoring lessons for diverse learning needs, I have worked across schools, libraries, community centres, and online platforms, helping students thrive academically and emotionally. My expertise in grammar, punctuation, and SEN learning strategies ensures students receive the guidance they need to succeed. Who My Lessons Are For: I specialise in KS2 students, particularly those needing SEN support, confidence-building strategies, or a little extra help.
