About Koulla
I was born in London to an Irish mother who would sing old Irish folk songs to me. Other than that, listening to my dad’s tapes in the car was my initial experience of the varied musical tastes. I began acting which was my first love. Too vulnerable to show myself singing, I stuck with acting. As I got a bit older I began having singing lessons and got to perform in choirs and concerts. Eventually I started a music PR company representing high profile bands both in the UK and America. Eventually got to record with an icon. So, here I am back to my love of singing. It never leaves you.

My approach to singing is bringing out the voice and the confidence that’s been long hidden. As a youngster I could sing but had little control of my range, until I started having weekly singing lessons and learnt to control and use my voice without trying to hit that big note. Be able to sing any song I wanted without hiding in the shower. Singing is a universal and everyone loves to sing.
