About Szevil

I was born to a family of musicians and music teachers, so it was inevitable for me to begin mastering an instrument at a very young age (4 years old, to be more specific). :) I've always had a passion for music, which has been coninuously growing since the first day I sat behind a piano.

Throughout my 14 years of music studies I encountered many people, who yearned to learn how to play the piano, but they didn't have the means or time for that, which made me think, that there has to be a way for them to be able to enjoy playing an instrument, learning their favorite songs without having to go through dozens of years of musical studies and strict, time consuming conventional methods, not to mention the stress that comes with those. And that is how my teaching journey began more, than 12 years ago.

I'm here to give you tools to develop something, that I call the Almost Perfect Pitch. I will teach you to listen and play what you hear, without having to rely on sheet music. I want you to understand harmonies and how to create and build them on your own. The sky's the limit! (and of course the number of keys you have on the piano) :)

About the lesson

Hi there!
My name is Szevil, born in Ukraine, grew up in Hungary, living in the Netherlands. I've been studying music since the age of 4 and haven't stopped doing that until this very day!

Based on my - probably biased - opinion, Piano is one of the most versatile instruments and that's what I want to teach YOU, to be able to utilize that.

The main focus is on harmonies, how to assemble and disassemble, how to understand and play around with them, so you can be your own musical accompaniment. :)

No stress, no rush, everything's tailored to your needs and pace, so you can really focus on enjoying the learning progress.

Does this sound inviting? You've come to the right place then! My lessons last 1 hour and are suitable for all ages.
