About the lesson

Teaching Techniques and Methodology:
I adopt a student-centered approach, focusing on the individual needs and learning pace of each student. My methodology includes a mix of communicative language teaching (CLT) and task-based learning, where I emphasize practical usage of Mandarin in everyday situations. I use a variety of teaching tools such as multimedia resources, interactive exercises, and real-life scenarios to engage students and make lessons more relatable. I also incorporate cultural elements to provide a holistic understanding of the language.

Typical Length of a Lesson:
A standard lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, which allows enough time to cover new material, practice through exercises, and review previous lessons. For younger students or beginners, I may adjust the length to 45 minutes to maintain focus and engagement.

Qualifications/Experience:
I hold a bachelor degree in International Tourism Management and have 1 year of experience teaching Mandarin to students of various levels. My background includes working with both children and adults, which has equipped me with the versatility to adapt my teaching style to different age groups and proficiency levels.

Target Audience:
My lessons are tailored for students of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced learners. I teach both children (from age 6) and adults, ensuring that each lesson is appropriate for the student's age, proficiency level, and learning goals. Whether the objective is to improve conversational skills, prepare for exams, or gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, I create customized lesson plans to meet those needs.
