About Scott
I am Head of Religious Studies at a prestigious grammar school. I am also ex-Head of Sixth Form and was previously in charge of applications to University, specialising in Medical and Oxbridge applications. I can develop relationships quickly with students and I like to think I inspire a love of learning generally, but specifically in my subject. I ensure a good pace and promote interaction to ensure students build their confidence. I try not to overload students with unnecessary information and have a wealth of tips to ensure exam success. I look forward to the sessions and I hope the students do, too.

I would provide reading, comprehension, and dynamic dicussions. I would expect students to complete workbooks/worksheets I have created and/or answer set questions to be discussed more in the sessions. I would also set timed essays either in or outside of the sessions and mark these, offering feedback. I would dedicate some time to free discussion where students can ask me questions, but I am very flexible. I would tend to tutor GCSE/A Level students. I would expect to deliver 50/60 minute sessions. I have tutored three students from a range of backgrounds in the past and all have achieved highly.
