About Sarah
I’m Sarah, I'm from the U.S. and I'm an English tutor with a non-regional American accent.
I offer conversations in professional business English, medical terminology, healthcare, business, academic presentations, and overall conversational English for adult learners. I help with professional job interview prep and practice, and presentation practice (both academic and professional).
I also support students preparing for the IELTS and TOEFL exams, especially in the speaking and listening sections. We’ll practice real test-style questions, improve your fluency and structure, and build the confidence you need to perform well on exam day. I provide clear, supportive feedback so you always know how to improve.
As a PhD Candidate, with a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and 16 years in clinical and non-clinical healthcare roles, I bring real-world experience to help you navigate both professional and everyday communication.
I provide a relaxed, LGBTQIA-friendly space with flexible scheduling! Thus making it easy and enjoyable to build your confidence, pronunciation, and fluency at your own pace.
My teaching/tutoring experience includes:
*1 year online tutoring adults and children
*4 years tutoring college students at my University Science Center for Anthropology and Pre-Medicine.
