About Arooj
Hello, my name is Arooj. I am an English language teacher. I have a master's degree in English Studies. I live in the UK. I am a motivated, adaptable, and responsible graduate having ample experience in the education/training and administrative sectors as a team coordinator, language teacher and career coach/trainer at different institutions as well as at corporate level. I have taught both EFL and ESL students from primary, secondary and high school study levels. I am looking forward to teaching my new students in online classes. See you all soon!

My teaching methods focus on engaging the learners by utilising ice breaker activities, current news and events, case studies, YouTube videos, and so on. The objective is to quickly grab student attention and interest in the topic. I encourage students to organise their thoughts regarding what they are about to see, hear, and/or do and include learning objectives in lecture slides, the syllabus, and in instructions for activities, projects and papers. I provide immediate feedback of students’ performance to assess and facilitate learning and consider using group / class level feedback (highlighting common errors, give examples or models of target performance, show students what you do not want)
