About Sanya
In my lessons, I aim to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring complex concepts at their own pace. Each lesson is tailored to meet the needs of the individual or group, ensuring that the content is relevant, accessible, and aligned with their academic goals.
I begin by assessing each student's current understanding of the topic, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. This helps me structure the lessons to fill in knowledge gaps while reinforcing key principles. My lessons often include a mix of theoretical discussion and practical aspects.
I break down difficult topics into digestible parts, using examples and analogies to make them easier to grasp.
My teaching experience includes tutoring my peers since I was in grade ten. It’s something I’m passionate about. I was also a mentor in my undergraduate degree where I tutored juniors and mentored them for exam preparation. I strive to foster a safe space for students to ask questions and express their thoughts, ensuring that each lesson is a collaborative journey of learning.
My goal is to build confidence, encourage curiosity, and help students gain the skills they need to succeed academically and beyond.
