About Dulce
Who am I? A Mexican woman who gave up her stable life to travel to the other side of the world to learn a new language and study yoga. In my other life I was a journalist, I worked in the most important radio and television program in my country. I studied different courses in writing, creative writing and assertive communication. I love learning, almost every day I read or watch the news, but when I feel overwhelmed I prefer to take a book. In my free time I like dancing, skating, swimming and lately singing... I am currently learning yoga to become a teacher. Why do I want to teach? Because I believe that knowledge becomes valuable when it is shared, so I want to take advantage of my stay in Australia to share everything I know about Spanish.

In my experience learning a second language I understood that every human being acquires knowledge differently and that every learning process must be personalised. That is why I offer a class tailored to your needs and goals. In addition, we will immerse ourselves in different aspects of the language, from grammar to conversation, listening comprehension and reading. Most importantly, I will foster a supportive and collaborative environment that makes you feel comfortable practising. Don't worry, it's normal to make mistakes, it's part of the process. Finally, I would like to remind you that when you learn a language you are not just going to learn to speak or read it, you are also going to learn about another culture, other ways of perceiving the world, you are going to be able to understand and connect with people completely different from you and that is wonderful :)
