About Dora

My name is Dora. I’m half Japanese and half British, and I was raised in Osaka, Japan. I came to the UK 11 years ago to study at university, and now I live in London with my family — I had my first baby last year.
I’m really looking forward to starting lessons with you !!

About the lesson

Beginners welcome ! Best for students who wants to learn Japanese in English
My lessons mainly focus on speaking and listening — especially on natural, everyday Japanese conversation. ️ Let’s have a chat during the trial lesson!
Being half Japanese and half British, I’m confident that I can offer lessons that introduce Japanese culture from my unique perspective, making them more relatable and accessible to British learners.
I’m originally from Osaka, a city famous for its Kansai accent! The Kansai accent is known for being friendly and expressive — it’s a great bonus to learn it! Whether you’d like to study with or without the accent, I can adjust the lesson plan to suit your preference.
