About Fernanda

Besides languages and working in the movie industry, I love dancing, exploring new places, and taking photographs. The idea of meeting and helping people around the world is what inspires me to teach English and to share my knowledge of language and culture.

About the lesson

My teaching method is designed to be engaging, interactive, and tailored to each individual student's needs. I believe that every student has their own unique learning style and pace, and my job as a teacher is to identify those and adjust my teaching style accordingly. To begin with, I like to create a comfortable and positive learning environment where students feel safe to express themselves and ask questions. I believe that confidence is key to learning a new language, and I work hard to ensure that my students feel confident in their ability to communicate in English. In my classes, I like to use a variety of teaching tools and techniques to keep things interesting and engaging. These can include videos, podcasts, games, interactive activities, and more. I also like to incorporate real-life scenarios and topics into my lessons, so that students can learn practical language skills that they can use in their daily lives.

She is native English and Spanish speaker living in Canada for over 15 years with an excellent italian learned during her studies. She also gained a large experience in the film industry of Vancouver working as buyer and set decoration coordinator. I really recommend her!
