About Kaia
I am a native English speaker, I have first hand experience in helping someone learn a language, and I am learning a new language myself so I understand how difficult it can be and what questions a lot of students may have. I want to help students really understand the English language and create a safe and open environment for students to ask questions and freely discuss their concerns. I am very patient and think outside the box when it come to helping students understand curriculum. I am a tutor in other subjects for middle schoolers and I think my experience with that can translate to tutoring English. I hope through my tutoring I will not only help students learn English but create friendships so students can feel safe and heard.

As a tutor I want to understand what your goals are for language such as what do you want to focus on whether that is speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, etc. I cater each lesson based on the needs of my students and help tutees understand why something is correct. I am very patient and good with kids so I connect better with middle/high school kids especially since I am a high schooler myself yet I can tutor any age.
