About Kate
I'm a visual artist and educator passionate about making a meaningful difference in the world with my work. Since 2018 I've worked for an educational charity that delivers video and media training to marginalised groups. This job has taken me overseas to facilitate international projects in Sweden, Romania, Italy and Spain, where I've worked with people from countries around the world. I've also lived in Thailand where I worked as an English Teacher. I love travelling and meeting new people, which is partly why I love teaching! Along with travelling, I love scuba diving, surfing, music, nature and anything creative!

I've been a teacher for over 5 years now and have taught students of all ages from 2-8! I've taught students from China, Korea, Japan, Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan and of course the UK!
I teach English and Art and have a certTESOL, TEFL and two degrees.
I graduated from my Bachelor's degree in 2017 and my Master's in 2023.
I regularly tutor, teach after-school clubs, and run courses and workshops for a range of clients including art therapy for the NHS.
Upon meeting students I like to discuss what you’re looking for from our sessions, so I can tailor the sessions to your needs.
My sessions usually last one hour however I can tailor the classes to fit you. I looking forward to hopefully meeting and talking with you!
