Hello. My name is Todd Payne. I have two children and we are a happy family. I graduated from The University of Louisville in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. I speak some Mandarin Chinese and have been teaching English for ten years. I look forward to tutoring you!

I believe teachers must be patient and positive with their students. Patience allows students to learn at their own pace. Flexibility is important if one curriculum is not working, we must recognize this so we can adapt the student’s needs. Creativity is necessary and understanding that there are many ways to get a point across. Being a good communicator and collaborator, working together is more productive and effective than working alone. Teachers can learn to be more empathetic and try to understand their students’ world views.
