About Andrea
I’m a dedicated and experienced tutor with over 20 years of helping students and adults build stronger reading, writing, and communication skills. My academic background includes a Juris Doctor (JD), a dual Bachelor of Arts degree, and a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification, which together give me both the structure and flexibility to support a wide range of learners.
I genuinely enjoy working one-on-one with students and take the time to understand how each person learns best. Whether I’m helping a student gain confidence in reading, improve their writing, or expand their vocabulary, my goal is always the same: to make learning clear, manageable, and encouraging.
Students and families often tell me they appreciate my patience, consistency, and ability to explain things in a way that finally “clicks.” I create a supportive, focused environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and making real progress.
