About Michael

I'm a Physics Major at UCSB who's excited about teaching. I went to community college for two years and tutored the whole way through. I meet my students where they are and build them to where they need to be.

About the lesson

Precalculus is "integral" to success in calculus (pun intended).

My lessons focus heavily on guiding the student's understanding to build intuition. Calculus is hard at first and is truly a subject that is nothing like any math before. So, we'll keep everything rooted in the classic algebra you already know.

Students trust me because I don’t rush, I don’t judge, and I meet you exactly where you're at. My approach is conversational and clear: we work through problems step-by-step to understand the “how,” which is so critical in topics like these.
