About Simone

Hi! I’m Simone, a current student at Western University with a strong interest in business, sports, events, and professional development. Having recently navigated university applications, internships, and the job search process myself, I understand how intimidating these milestones can feel when you’re just getting started.

I’m friendly, patient, and very hands-on, and I love helping students recognize the strengths and experiences they may not realize are worth highlighting. My approach is collaborative rather than simply telling someone what to write — I want students to leave our sessions feeling more confident in their own ideas and better equipped to present themselves.

About the lesson

Hi everyone! My name is Simone and I’m a current Western University student. With university application season coming up, I wanted to offer some affordable, one-on-one support for high school and university students in Ontario virtually!

Having gone through the university application process myself, I know how overwhelming it can be trying to make yourself stand out on applications, figure out what to write about, or even know where to start. I’ve been fortunate to receive acceptances to Western BMOS, Queen’s Commerce, and multiple top U.S. business programs, and have also gained experience applying for jobs and internships, including successfully securing an internship in New York City.

I’d love to use what I’ve learned to help other students with anything from university/college applications, supplemental essays, personal statements and scholarships to résumés, LinkedIn profiles, cover letters, job/internship applications and interview prep.

This can be as simple as having me review and give feedback on one essay or résumé, or more ongoing one-on-one support throughout the application process. I’m super flexible and happy to tailor sessions to whatever each student needs.

Pricing is flexible depending on the type and amount of support needed, and I want to keep this accessible for students and families. Whether your child has an application almost finished and just wants another set of eyes on it, or has absolutely no idea where to begin, I’m happy to help!
