About Niko

I am a passionate French tutor with 6 years of experience teaching high school and college students. I have guided over 150 learners to fluency, academic success, and effective communication.

My teaching philosophy revolves around personalised learning, tailoring lessons to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals.

I employ interactive exercises, role-playing, conversation practice, and cultural exploration to make lessons engaging, practical, and memorable. My unique skill lies in breaking down complex grammar and vocabulary into simple, actionable steps that students can apply confidently.

I focus on creating a positive, motivating, and student-centred learning environment, where learners feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and celebrating progress. Lessons are designed to strengthen all language skills while fostering curiosity and practical application.

Teaching French is my passion. I aim to provide a learning experience that is tailored, enriching, and confidence-building, helping students excel academically and communicate fluently in real-world contexts.

About the lesson

My French teaching methodology is focused on meaningful communication and steady skill development. I believe students should learn French in a way that prepares them for real-life use.

I use real-life examples and case studies such as attending interviews, participating in meetings, travelling, writing professional emails, and everyday social conversations. These situations help students understand how French works in practical settings.

I explain grammar and vocabulary clearly and ensure students practise through speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities. Problem-solving tasks help learners think in French and respond with confidence. Motivation is very important in my classroom.

I guide students with patience and encourage consistent effort. Integrity is one of my key values, and I provide honest and respectful feedback. I am flexible and adapt my teaching methods according to each student’s goals and proficiency level.

Besides French, I also teach related subjects such as pronunciation practice, communication skills, grammar strengthening, writing development, and exam preparation. My goal is to help students become fluent and confident French speakers.
