About Rachel
Born in Cuba I came to the United States when I was one years old . Although I attended and grew up in the US my culture still remained at home. As a kid it was difficult for me to play with kids in the neighborhood. It wasn’t until I stared first grade and met my teacher who also spoke Spanish. She was able to identify and spend more time with me which built my confidence in wanting to learn English .

Being raised by Hispanic parents myself , I understood the difficulties and struggles when having to learn a different language outside the home. Therefore , by creating a easy technique and guideline it will give the students more confidence and will enable them to want to learn and enjoy conversations with fellow students.
