About Emily
I’m studying a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and I’ve been working with children for over six years. I love getting to know each student and helping them feel confident in their learning.
I want to teach because I truly enjoy watching children grow, learn new skills, and realize just how capable they are. Every child learns differently, and I love finding the way that works best for your child. My goal is to make learning feel safe, supportive, and even fun.
I believe everyone can learn and succeed with the right support, encouragement, and a teacher who believes in them. I’m excited to help you build confidence, try new things, and be proud of your progress every step of the way

I take a one-on-one, tailored approach to tutoring, ensuring each lesson is designed to best suit the individual child’s learning style, strengths, and areas for growth. I believe children learn best when they feel supported, confident, and engaged, so my sessions are structured yet flexible, allowing me to adapt strategies as needed.
My teaching methodology focuses on building strong foundational skills, reinforcing classroom learning, and using age-appropriate, hands-on activities to keep lessons engaging and effective. I aim to create a positive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and celebrating progress.
Lessons typically run for 30 minutes, which is an ideal length to maintain focus and maximise learning outcomes for young learners. These lessons are aimed at primary school–aged children. Supporting students who may need extra help, confidence building, or extension in their learning, is the goal!
I am currently completing a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and have over 6 years experience working with children across early learning and primary school settings.
