Hey, my name is Liam and I am a 19 year old undergraduate studying Jurisprudence (Law) at the University of Oxford. I currently live in South East London (Lewisham/Deptford area) where I was born an raised. I attended St Matthews Academy in Lewisham where I gained a modest 2A*’s 4A’s and 5B’s. I then went on to study at one of London’s best selective sixth forms, Harris Westminster, where I studied History (A) , Government and Politics (A*) , and Religious Studies (A). The combination of these A levels provided me with the analytical and comprehensive skills to be able to study law at Oxford which requires a fine attention to detail.
Tutoring has always been a passion of mine having previously tutored primary school children who were struggling with mathematics. As a local who grew up in Lewisham I am fully aware of all the distractions in the classroom (and outside of it) which can have a perverse on a student's progress. My 1 on 1 tuition will help fill the gaps which have been missed in school and will further teach whole missed topics. I will ensure tutor meetings are punctual as well as engaging, and that I won’t just teach the student content on the syllabus, but I will help them to pass the exam with my developed exam techniques
In regards to A levels I specialise in History , Government and Politics, Religious studies and philosophy at A level, particularly in terms of essay writing and revision techniques which will help to get my student top A level grades. I can teach all exam boards but I specialise with OCR exams. I am an ideal candidate to teach these as I have just finished my A levels where I achieved great grades, hence my techniques and knowledge are up to date and fresh!In addition to these, I can teach most GCSE’s ranging from Maths to Science and from History to Citizenship and help my student achieve a great set of GCSE results. Furthermore, I can teach primary level students in many areas including maths and english. I also specialise in Oxbridge admissions (especially for Law and History) e.g interview tactics and answers and personal statement advice. Please message me for any further enquires :)
