About Thalía

I have been teaching Spanish for almost 3 years. I've helped around 10 different students, some of them were learning from scratch, others wanted to get prepared for an exam level or just get better at speaking spanish. I once helped an English student who had come to Spain but had no idea about speaking Spanish, I helped him and in 5 months he obtained a B1 level on Spanish, we kept working and after a year and a half he's practically fluent in Spanish!

About the lesson

I help people of all ages, the nationality doesn't matter, but all my resources are designed to English speakers, so if English is not your first language but you are able to speak it well there won't be any problems. Before helping my students I love to know about their interests, depending on them and your level I will design a study plan, so it is different for every person. I can help you with anything, vocabulary, oral comprehension, writing, speaking...
I once had a student that loved astronomy so in order to teach him Spanish, i included vocabulary about astronomics in her exercices, I gave her astronomic related texts to practice reading, etc...so that is basically my teaching methodology: focusing the task of learning into something my students feel interested in.
