About John Sebastian

I am a 3D artist currently employed by a Canadian college to create high optimized assets for a virtual learning environment. I've created highly detailed models for games and digital dioramas. I've acquired my skills through a mix of schooling and self-teaching.

About the lesson

I can tutor you in the creation of 3D game ready assets. I can guide you through the general pipeline of block-out, high-poly modeling, low-poly modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing and game engine implementation.

I specialize in 3D character creation. If you are interested in creating game ready characters, we can dive into some more advanced subjects.

Sculpting software and retopology algorithms continue to evolve. The growing capabilities of AI may lead to a more streamlined creation process.

I am a 3D artist specializing in game assets. The gaming industry has become titanic and with the development of technology it is becoming easier for individuals to create their own ideas.

I am more inspired by digital artists such as Raffael Grassetti

Many people who start their journey in art often worry about having talent. Talent is great to have but a person makes great art not because of talent but because they persist and dedicate themselves to improve.
6) What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?
It can be overwhelming if you look at the entire process so its best to focus on the small steps and celebrate those victories.
7) What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?
I enjoy miniature painting.
