About Nishi

My name is Nishi Vyas and I am a dedicated Year 9 student going into Year 10. I am passionate about learning and helping younger students build strong academic foundations in both Mathematics and English. As someone personally studying in a high performing, academically rigorous environment, I understand the importance of clear explanations, good study habits and consistent support. I bring a calm, patient approach to tutoring and I always ensure my students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I have experience assisting younger peers with schoolwork, preparing them for tests and helping them build confidence in subjects they find challenging. My own experience attending tutoring over the years has also taught me what truly helps students understand and enjoy their lessons. Families can feel confident that I take tutoring seriously, show professionalism and genuinely care about each student's progress. My goal is to create a positive, encouraging learning space where students feel motivated, capable and proud of how far they can go.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach focuses on clarity, confidence and step by step understanding. I break difficult concepts into simple, manageable parts and guide students through examples before helping them apply the skills independently. I tailor every lesson to the student's pace, learning style and school curriculum so that they see real improvement and not just memorisation.

My lessons usually run for 60 minutes which allows enough time for concept explanation, practice questions and review. For younger students or those requiring shorter sessions, I can also offer 30 to 45 minute lessons.

As a Penrith Selective High School student entering Year 10, I bring strong academic skills in Maths and English as well as recent experience with the same content that younger students are learning. I've supported classmates, younger peers and family friends with homework, exam revision and foundational skills which has helped me develop a calm, patient teaching style.

My lessons are ideal for:
- Primary School students (Years 1-6) needing support in Maths, English or Homework
- Lower High School Students (Years 7-8) who want to strengthen core Maths and English Skills
- Students preparing for exams or general confidence building
