About Zulfa

My name is Zulfa Safiyyah binti Mat Adli, and I am a recent graduate from Kolej Matrikulasi Pulau Pinang. I completed my SPM in 2024, where I achieved 8A (4A+, 1A, 3A-) and 1B+.

I am passionate about helping students improve their understanding and confidence in core academic subjects, particularly Mathematics, English, and Bahasa Melayu. I believe that every student is capable of doing well when concepts are explained clearly and learning is approached in a structured and supportive way.

My teaching style focuses on simplifying difficult topics into step-by-step explanations, strengthening exam techniques, and providing guided practice to ensure students fully understand what they learn. I adapt my lessons according to each student’s pace and learning style to make sure they feel comfortable and supported throughout the learning process.

I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students are not afraid to ask questions and can gradually build both their understanding and confidence.

My lessons are suitable for secondary school students (Form 1 to Form 5), especially those preparing for SPM or those who need extra support in strengthening their basics.

About the lesson

I believe learning becomes much easier when students feel comfortable asking questions without fear of making mistakes. My approach is focused on building understanding step by step rather than memorizing answers, especially for exam-oriented subjects like Mathematics, English, and Bahasa Melayu.

Teaching techniques & methodology
I simplify complex topics into easy-to-understand explanations
I use step-by-step problem solving for Maths to strengthen logical thinking
For English and BM, I focus on writing structure, grammar rules, and exam answering techniques
I provide practice questions and guide students through how to approach exam-style questions
I adapt my teaching style based on the student’s level and learning speed

A typical lesson is 1 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s focus and workload. Short breaks are included to help maintain concentration during longer sessions.

I am a high-achieving SPM graduate with strong results in core academic subjects including Mathematics, English, and Bahasa Melayu. I also have experience in mentoring and guiding others in structured learning, which helps me explain topics in a patient and clear manner.
