About Kathryn
I love learning and my favorite subjects are english and history. As a high-achieving, honor roll student myself, I will help the students I tutor perform to their best ability and give them the tools they need to succeed. However, I will do so in a positive manner and make sure the student is being uplifted and taught to believe in their own abilities. I also participate in theater and the arts, so I can bring a creative approach to my style as a tutor and am skilled at connecting with people of all backgrounds. I want this to be a positive experience and, most importantly, I want the students to grow and improve!

I will create a personalized lesson plan for the students I tutor and will encourage them along the way to gain both their confidence and skills in the classroom! I am a very organized person and will assist with helping students create a game-plan for their studies, along with helping them with the subject itself. I am also skilled in creating study plans and using different methods of studying depending on the subject matter, like active recall vs hands on studying. I will help students built their academic skills so they will be successful as they move forward in their studies.
