About Faye

I am a piano teacher with over 13 years of experience and an Associate of Music in Piano Skills. My expertise includes church worship, theatre accompaniment, and wedding band performance. Each lesson is tailored to student goals and interests. I emphasise sight-reading, improvisation, chord work, and performance readiness. Students gain the skills and confidence to play in live ensembles. My lessons focus on musicality as much as technique. I enjoy helping students find their own expressive voice. Sessions are motivating, practical, and creative. Students develop confidence and skill for real-world performance. Whether performing for worship, theatre, or live gigs, I guide students every step of the way. Music becomes rewarding, enjoyable, and performance-ready.

About the lesson

I teach piano with an emphasis on building sight-reading fluency. Lessons focus on speed reading, interval identification, rhythmic accuracy, and systematic drills. Finger coordination and visual recognition are central. Child Prodigies and Hobbyist Adults receive exercises that develop confidence and skill. Lessons emphasise pattern recognition, reading speed, and accuracy. Students gradually gain the ability to play new pieces at first sight. Every lesson is practical, engaging, and motivating. Sight-reading becomes faster, smoother, and enjoyable. Students leave prepared for real performance challenges. Practice is structured but fun. Learners steadily improve in fluency and confidence. Reading music transforms from a challenge to a strength.
