About Zachary
I teach at the high school level, and I've been doing so for 6 years. I teach all kinds of students at all levels of knowledge, all who have different challenges from home life to poverty to special needs. Learning can be difficult and daunting, but I firmly believe that anyone can learn anything if they really want to. I leverage social and emotional learning to help boost academic learning, and I am a teacher that seeks those aha moments where you and I can share the victory of learning something new.

I'm a self-taught coding specialist, and I've become very quickly familiar with any curriculum I am set up to teach. Since I teach myself, I'm very familiar with the common pitfalls that many students will encounter! More than likely. I will know what will cause you to stumble before you even get there, so I can get you over the hump faster. I also frequently use analogies and different modalities to teach coding, as this facilitates not only the standard student but also those who are neurodivergent and need alternate teaching strategies.
