I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from UCT. I have a TEFL qualification and have been teaching foreigners in Cape Town. I also taught according to the CAPS curriculum in a Cape Town High school.

My methodology changes according to whether I am teaching home language or foreign language. In terms of foreign language, my main aim is to be able to get the student to communicate and express themselves fully and comfortably in english. In home language, I prefer to delve deeper into the linguistic, semantic and poetic aspect of language.
