About Adam
During my sophomore year of high school, I enrolled in my very first French class. It was then when I fell in love with the language and I learned that I wanted to pursue that as a career--a French teacher. I obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education with a concentration of French from the University of Kansas. Following graduation, I taught all levels of French at a high school in Missouri, and found a new home in Dodge City, Kansas where I am currently in my 3rd year of teaching the French I so love.

I typically teach students who have never received any French instruction in the past. I believe in the communicative approach, meaning, all instruction is contextualized to make the learning of the language genuine. I have noticed that following the comprehensible input method along with traditional instruction of breaking down grammatical structures and exploring the language in depth, reapplying it back to the context.
