About Neha
Hi! My name is Neha and I working on my degree in psychobiology at UCLA! I was a member of my school's mock trial team and thus love argumentative and persuasive writing. But most of all, I have a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge! English is my absolute favorite and I hope it will become yours too!

I prefer to take an individualized approach to tutoring. I'm able to help students with homework assignments or problems that may have difficulty on or simply review concepts depending on what they may need.
For students that would like classes rather than tutoring or extra assistance, depending on the student level, I would normally begin with comprehension assignments of more basic texts and then increase difficulty progressively. I grade students work and then explain incorrect answer choices and concepts to them. Additionally, I assign homework assignments if requested. Similarily, for essay writing classes, I start with idea organization and teach a basic 5 paragraph essay with a 3-point thesis and then progressively increase difficulty and essay types. However, all classes can be changed based on student level, progression, and needs.
For AP English Language classes or tutoring, I review multiple choice practice and teach students how to organize and write the three types of essays required for the exam.
I have a passion for English and teaching and am firm in the belief that an individualized approach is the best for learning!
