About Lauren
My name is Lauren Lamanna. I am a junior in high school. I’ve volunteered to work and be around kids and I’ve had a job working with children 5-10. During this job I taught kids different subjects, learned to help them and work with them, and entertained them for several hours. That job required several recommendations, which I received from family friends, neighbors, and other teachers.

It would be a good decision for your child to have me as a tutor because I, myself, am a student and understand how to appeal to other students. I work well with other people, especially children. Over the summer I worked in a school helping children learn math, reading, and writing. I am patient, understanding, and a good listener. I will talk to you and your child to figure out what he/she needs help with and build off of that. I will learn to understand what teaching methods help your child best and make sure that they understand the material.
