About Lydia

I have been in a higher role in the classroom for a number of years. I have extreme confidence in ELA and K-8 math through 5+ years of peer tutoring. I am looking to major in Education, and would love to gain additional teaching experience through tutoring!

About the lesson

-I teach through both clear verbal instruction and visual techniques. I am experienced with platforms such as Google docs, slides, and sheets to clearly explain the topic being discussed.
-A typical lesson plan looks like a concise explanation of what we are discussing, a visual task we complete together, and then a task on your own to confirm understanding.
-I have worked with all kinds of students, from peers to editing business papers and blogs. Additionally, I have a years experience in working with elementary-aged students through an in-classroom internship.
-Lessons are recommended for middle school and elementary school students.
-***Ad says I will tutor at my home. I will only tutor at the Ruth Holder Public Library or online***
