About Raiyah
I am a high school student, soccer coach, and activist. I am graduating from high school this year, and hoping to pursue a degree in English or Philosophy. I am bilingual in English and French. I work as a soccer coach for kids aged 5-8. I also write, volunteer, and work on issues of activism in Canada. I am an activist for Indigenous children and education. I am a published author. I am extremely passivate about education and children.

My teaching/coaching methods are based off of The Long-Term Player Development Model and Ontario Soccer Grassroots Development. This model encourages gradual development in a safe and productive environment. It also ensures that the student/player stays with their subject of passion forever. As a teacher, I would value fun and passion to encourage learning and reading. I am a unique candidate because I am student who has been educated through the elementary school model, and would love to better it. I would cater to each child's needs and what they enjoyed. I usually work with children aged 5-8.
