About Jessica

I’m Jessica Smith, a current 11th grader pursuing to go into the medical field! I’ve always been interested in science, and I want to spread that love, and inspire as many people as I can! I’ve completed Body Systems and Disorders, the base course for medical career pathways, and am currently enrolled in AP Biology, as well as Honors Human Anatomy (A’s in all), giving me a strong foundation for students who want to build confidence and get that extra edge before taking advanced high school courses. I’m also enrolled in a Medical Assisting course and will be earning my national certification by 18. Beyond academics, I volunteer with my school’s sports teams under a board-certified Athletic Trainer, where I practice taping methods, assist in supervised physical therapy, learn real-world patient communication, and apply anatomical terms in professional settings. What I offer: - Clear, patient explanations of biology and anatomy - A strong foundation for middle schoolers interested in medicine or science - Study skills, tips, and fun ways to remember concepts If your student wants to get ahead, strengthen their science skills, and gain confidence, I’d love to help!

About the lesson

Hi! I’m Jessica Smith, an 11th grader passionate about science and medicine. I’d love to help younger students understand biology, anatomy, and other science topics. My goal is to give middle schoolers the strong foundation that I wished I had as a kid so they’re confident and ready for high school science and any future medical programs they may want to pursue. I strive to make lessons fun, clear, and focused on building real understanding, as well as focusing on work ethic, and time management for your child, to teach them how to stay on top of their work. Perfect for students interested in medicine or just wanting to get ahead!
