About Nadia

Hi! I’m Nadia, a supportive and detail-oriented tutor with experience helping students improve their academic writing, reading comprehension, and overall communication skills.

I have worked with learners across a range of levels, including students transitioning from high school to university-level writing expectations, where assignments often become more complex and research-based.

I understand that academic writing can feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to structuring arguments, developing ideas, and meeting formal expectations. My goal is to simplify the process by breaking assignments into clear steps and helping students build strong, repeatable writing strategies.

I aim to create a structured, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions while also being guided toward measurable improvement and long-term academic success.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help high school and university students develop strong, clear, and confident academic writing skills across English courses and related assignments.

I support students with essay structure, thesis development, paragraph organization, literary analysis, critical thinking, research papers, and editing for clarity and coherence. I also help students understand assignment expectations and break down complex prompts into manageable steps so they can approach their work with more confidence and direction.

A key part of my approach is teaching students how to build strong arguments and organize their ideas effectively, not just correcting writing after it is completed. This helps students develop long-term skills they can apply across multiple courses and disciplines.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s academic level and goals, whether they are aiming to improve grades, strengthen writing skills, or prepare for exams and major assignments.

After that, my rates are $60/hour for in-person sessions and $55/hour for online sessions.
