About Martin
I'm Martin, a dad of 3, who works from home part-time on my own business. I've always had a love of mathematics - it's the language of the universe! and I get great satisfaction when my students get that a-ha! moment. Understanding mathematics is much more important than remembering formulas - remembering later is the easy bit. My kids all advocate for my tutoring skills, and were inspired by my enthusiasm for the subject, and that anyone can be good at math!

I have taught all my children mathematics for their school levels up to leaving cert. Lessons would be for 1 hour, and my approach would be to focus on the various branches of mathematics which the student feels they require help. Understanding is much more important than remembering.
I would prefer to focus on ages 12-16
